From what I've seen of the latest campaign, I don't expect to see those kind of numbers from you guys without trying it a couple of times. We'll see....

It was a close one. Had the AI synchronized attacks on Bassen and Sagehorn, things would have turned out very different.

Here's things 54 minutes into the battle. I sent 2 tank companies to Bassen as highest speed. They did not get there in time to take up a good defensive position. The Soviets pushed them out and held Bassen for an hour and a half. A counter-attack re-took the town.

3-41 IN handled a BTR-80 equipped MRB with no difficulty. At this point, parts of B Co and C Co 3-41 IN are stell getting to their positions

90 minutes later:

Units in Sagehorn are at 20% ammo. Units on the east side of Oyten are at 15% ammo. Counterattack ordered in Bassen.

2 half strength Tank Bns, a half strength MRB, and a full strength MRB are preparing to assault Sagehorn. All Cobras lost and 2 OH-58 units destroyed too (SA-11). 4-41 IN can't get to Sagehorn in time. The taknk co in Oyten is still engaged with tanks to their east.

Soviets took the VP in Sagehorn, then moved off. The attack was a piecemeal by a single Tank Bn. A scount squad walked onto the VP on the last turn.
