Troop Transport Queued mission

Had a rebellion happening at a colony, had a troop transport on the way, set to unload troops.

The colony rebels won, taking over control of the colony.

The troop transport arrived, unloaded my troops, which promptly joined the rebels on the surface of the planet. No combat starts, and I can not retrieve my troops.

I would assume that the queued mission "unload troops" instead of "attack" was the cause of the issue.
