Stack in Hand

Post by Platon »

How can one examine the units in the stack in hand (for example when moving a large Task Force of naval units).

with kind regards
And it is also my belief that there has to be CAP for the active player during Ground Support.

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

Once you stack a group of units. They lose all unique identity.
Its assumed you already took note of the individual composition of each unit before stacking them up.

Some screens can help you before stacking.

One important part of the game is knowing your oob intimately.
Its not something the Program can help you much with.

Sorry. Not possible. You might be able to cancel the move and review the selected units before you pick them up.

I thought about adding that ability once upon a time - but I never wrote it down on my task list.

You can try F11, which will give you some information about destinations for naval units that are "in hand". I'll add an item to my task list to include a Unit Stack Viewer and Unit Data Panel to that form - which would do what you asked. But I do not promise that that will get done any time soon.
