New screens for SC3

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Just for modding sample (2 graph possibilities for units counters are mixed in same screen)

In addition of my future special operationnal map mod, I plane to modify the vanilla map to provide (as altyernate vanilla map) a more clear map (graphs seems a little bit too dark for me, I will clear them a little bit)

Like the pics and good scale. Love the inclusion of both sea and air. I hope convoy/sub warfare are done well. Interdiction by air can really emulate the true missions of the flyboys.

A possible look for the game, as "board game mod" would be that : (see attached image)

Very impatient to begin to play and mod this game [:'(] : my ground, railroads, towns, hills, forest and counters material are ready, just the game is missing[:D]

These are official WiP screens (the ones at the top)? I'm not on board with the overall look. The cities in particular.

I can't say this looks like an evolving engine from the screens, either graphically or in terms of game-play. No stacking, aircraft taking up an entire hex, etc. I'm hoping to hear the new features will be fairly extensive (it is a numeric advancement to "3", after all), so I'll reserve judgement for now.

I don't like the look of the cities either, but everything else looks good.

I hope it ships with NATO counters though. Shouldn't need a mod for that.

British fighters for a "old Third Reich PC" mod (including original sounds of Third Reich PC : entire game will have the graph/sound aspect of Third Reich PC)

Image quality is bad because jpg format is only allowed here (original are in bmp)

in this mod, the map of SC3 will have the global aspect of the 3r PC map, evidently with larger size, better definition for streams and rivers + some improvments for cities and ressources)

Totally love the screens. I think Hubert took a very close look at the Commander: the great war graphics and rightly so. The very crisp presentation of the map was the one reason I much preferred Commander to the recent incarnations of SC and he seems to have realized something needed to be done about this. Well done Hubert.

Absolutely Beautiful Screenies, where is everyone, get your butts on here and keep us updated. [8D]

P.S. The Great War did have very clean graphics. It did get caught up in some game play issues though.

Thanks everyone and I can share that they've only improved since those screens were first made with much more detail added to the maps. More on that hopefully soon enough [:)]
