Patch 1.05 is now available!

Germany At War: Operation Barbarossa 1941 is an elegant turn-based design, inspired by classics such as Panzer General, but with more of a historical focus. You command the German forces through a branching historical campaign covering the entire 1941 campaign as well as part of the 1942 campaign. Dozens of scenarios stretch from the Soviet border all the way to Archangel and towards Astrakhan, the original military goals of Operation Barbarossa. Step into a wargame where your performance will rewrite history, through an addictive combination of compelling gameplay, realistic events and challenging battles.

Hello zakblood,

you are welcome. Having it right in the announcement is always a plus and i am sure it was just in the heat of the battle it was left out by accident. Those little things that can happen from time to time.

you are welcome.

The support will go on for quite a while. Those who remember the predecessor "Operation Barbarossa - The struggle for Russia" now our philosophy in practise. We actually only aborted the game because the engine was in a dead end e.g. you had to convert maps just for different languages and that was just the tip of the iceberg.

Germany at War is a total different thing. It is flexible and easy to expand. The features can be combined to an extent we could not fully exploit so far even though we surely tried :-)

So with this nice engine at hand the fun of creating (our main drive) should last much longer than with OB.
