German Reinforcements?

Piercing Fortress Europa is a new game from veteran game designer Frank Hunter, which covers the campaigns of the Western Allies from July, 1943 through the end of April, 1945 in Sicily and Italy. Each area has its own map and time scale to best represent the campaigns for Sicily and Italy and the player is offered complete freedom, limited only by a historical order of battle and logistics model, to plan his operations and explore all of the many “what ifs” that the Italian theater has to offer.

German Reinforcements?

Post by Michael T »

@Frank, is it WAD that the German reinforcements don't get to move on the turn of entry?

For example the 2 German ID that enter on T5 cannot move, yet can have supply added.

This is true for both Axis and Allied reinforcements. It would be nice to have reinforcements show up with more supply and ready to move, if this ever gets reconsidered for this and/or the sequel.

I had them arrive that way because I figured it was more realistic to have a few days after arriving in theatre before being committed.
