Plotted movement

Piercing Fortress Europa is a new game from veteran game designer Frank Hunter, which covers the campaigns of the Western Allies from July, 1943 through the end of April, 1945 in Sicily and Italy. Each area has its own map and time scale to best represent the campaigns for Sicily and Italy and the player is offered complete freedom, limited only by a historical order of battle and logistics model, to plan his operations and explore all of the many “what ifs” that the Italian theater has to offer.

Plotted movement

Post by Michael T »

Frank, what this game needs now or for France 44 is plotted movement or at least some waypoints. As is the player has no control as to how a unit reaches a certain point. Which in many situations is not ideal.

I would like to second Michael T's suggestion. It would be helpful to more accurately plot your moves. Especially when in close proximity to the enemy.

+1...

For allies, i would also like a quick Key for the Objective hexes be highlighted. It would also be good to snap to location from the Victory menu when clicked on OBJ name.

cheers

Perhaps two movement objective buttons, one for simply clicking on the objective when the path doesn't matter and the other where you plot the path one hex at a time?
