Random Screenshot(s) of the Week

Post by Lukas »

Some random bits and pieces collected during recent playtesting. For a change of the usual focus on "cool stuff" this is actualy all bad stuff happening.

Losing a carrier to a sneaky submarine is painful. Especially if it was packed with aircraft...

Commanders can't actualy die, but when their parent unit get destroyed you're looking at a long recovery time.

The images are both great to see....and simultaneously torturous. [:D]

Some more recent changes:

Torpedo trails

Events which have effects in later scenarios (campaign variables) are now marked on the map. This allows a constant overview of the strategic (dis)advantages you have achieved. Markers will disappear when they no longer affect the campaign.

Random screenshot from the New Georgia scenario. US forces run into strong Japanese resistance and counter-attacks as they advance closer to Munda airfield to the west.

Great looking map! That LTV A1 looks real! Also looks like I see some Mines in the harbor so you all the small details included in this game. Love to see more in game shots!

I would really like to see some more of the 2D boardgame screen shots. That is what initially interested me in this game and I am curious to see how they have been implemented. Any chance of posting some prior to release?
