Hotfix for CC Gateway to Caen

Hello All,

We have a hotfix for an issue with multiplayer, you can download the new exe here. You will need to unzip into the root folder of the game install, and let it overwrite CCE.exe

This is for people who bought from our store or Slitherine. The Steam version will be up later today and already has been corrected.

It's the old "Solve one issue, create another" problem [:D]

Installed, and now my Avast anti-virus is popping up every time I try to play GWTC. It minimizes the game when I start a map in single player or if I login to the lobby. I have to click "continue execution" at which point it will restart GWTC. Once it's done it once, it won't do it again though. Annoying but not a major issue.

The hotfix removes the direct connection so I wouldn't grab it unless you are having issues. Direct connection is faster but for some people just locks up the machine so obviously a routed server version which is slower is a lot better than not working at all. If you are not playing multiplayer you absolutely don't need this - it is only MP related.

How will this affect the Steam Version, as you cant go back to default as TIK has done?

Not in the Steam version, as steam always auto updates it.

Also, the steam exe is different to the PC exe.

It can not be different. Have you tried install the steam and the matrix version at same time? The Steam version launch the matrixgames version. Why? it is a matter of keys in the windows registe. But both files are equal and both save the games into the documents and settings folder.

How do i see my serial in Steam to register on matrix acc?

If you bought your game via Steam, there is no way at the moment that you get a serial key to register at our Matrix site.
