If there are not German campaign, how the multiplayer runs?

Post by Nomada_Firefox »

I´m very curious about the game modes. If there are not german campaign how multiplayer and the game runs. Can you play at multiplayer a campaign against other player with the germans? or both player are with US side against the machine? I do not know but if you play against the IA, even if it is better, never it will be a human player.

About Germans? can the human play a battle with them or it is used only by the IA at singleplayer? Really I find many questions without answer about it.

quote " The Bloody First focuses on the US 1st Infantry Division. You will be able to play from the Axis side, but there is no Axis campaign in the game, focusing in a similar way on the path of an Axis division through 1942-44. We're already discussing ideas for subsequent releases that focus on the Germans, however. "

so you can play as the germans, but there is no single player german only campaign it says, so 2 player pbem is still on, one axis, one US 1st Infantry Division player...

so yes to battles as axis,

or thats my take on the reply anyway[8|]

Zakblood is spot on.

We might have "Operations" for the Germans, which are comprised of linked scenarios, but there won't be a German campaign as this release focuses on the 1st US Infantry division.

Ok to be clear the questions for me are:

-Campaign, USA has full campaign but... you can play as german??? VS AI or human VS human.

-Coop in Campaign??? 2 players as USA VS AI as german??? and if is this... 2 players have more units on battle compared with single player???

-Coop mode... what is the limit in units per player??? 15, 20 ...

Well, this is my point.

Will it get a mission editor? How advanced will it be if it's included, and will it be hard to make a custom German campaign? I get the impression that there will be no mission editor or a very bad one, or even impossible/very hard to make custom campaigns and operations if you've decided to not make a German campaign. I've enjoyed the ability to play the same battles from both sides as one of the main features separating Close Combat from other games, does this mean that every scenario is custom made to be played as one side?

There will be a map editor and I suppose how campaign if it can be edited, it will be from a file, one txt, lua or other type of file. I do not think that edit the game be very difficult, at the end, it is made at Unity3D.

But personally the scenario editor from the last CC is a shit, you can edit very few things. The best scenario editor was made at CC3 and CC2.
