[WIP] Making a mod to add more things to the game, any suggestions?

I've added a load of new governments, racefamilies, races, images, custom weapons and research for said races already, but I'd really like to know if you guys have any suggestions: a cool idea for a government or a race, something like that.

Here are some of the things I've already got.
New governments: Religous sect, Tribalism, Hegemony (basically slavers, if you change into one of these, you enslave the population for a while, good for desperate situations), Force of Nature (only an option for some of the new races, makes diplomacy nearly impossible, but makes you powerful in every other area), War Party (Less powerful 'Force of Nature' available to all aggressive races), Isolationists (gain no income from trade, but makes up for this in other areas, so you can become self-sufficient. Good for when you're surrounded my enemies, and all your allies are on the other side of the galaxy), Hierarchy (only available to insect races, basically a more powerful version of Feudalism, without the approval hit, but other governments are more biased against it), Socialism (Feudalism with control of the private sector) and the Simple Life Party (No bias by anyone, other than technocracies, who hate them. A hit to research for a gain in approval.).

New families: Plant (WIP), Bacteria (WIP), Cephalopod, Non-organic, Space Creature (VERY WIP. Trying to make an empire race work similar to the Pirates... it's trying to say the least).

New races: Zha (Xenophobic plant race with the Force of Nature government. Completely custom research tree, ships look like large seeds/spores, and shoot spores. Research upgrades them genetically (think the Zerg). Very warlike race, my favourite creation thus far, really fun to play as. Their victory condition is to kill half of the population of the 3 most powerful races in the game, excluding them.). Planaria (Large bacteria with robotic suits and slaves. Passive and intelligent, can use the Technocracy government. Ships use a recoloured texture from the base game (the circular looking ships, not sure which race they belong to). Robotic races hate them, nobody else has a strong opinion either way. Need to control the 3 best marshy swamp planets, have the highest population, and perform the most research to win. These guys are difficult to play as, but they're fun to interact with, I put a lot of work into making their dialogue really alien, and strange.) Refra'act (Peaceful crystalline people. Focused on diplomacy, trading and research. Trying to make them biased against Mercantile guilds, and Corporate Nationalism, because In my head they'd try to sell them as they're made of crystal, as are their ships. All of the crystal in there bodies, buildings and ships means that there maintenance is very high, but they make a lot from trading for the same reason. Still working on the textures for these.
Planned races= some more robotic races, a few more races from the new families, and a slaver race.

Resources= made resources slightly more scarce, also added a 'Slaves resource,' but it still needs work.

So yeah. Don't expect anything anytime soon, as I still have a lot of work to do, but it looks good so far. And Like I said, I'd love to hear some of your suggestions, and include them if I can.

PS, I plan on making a version that includes the Distant Worlds Extended mod, as I think it's great, and know a lot of you guys already have it. Just have to get permission from the creator.

The Zha sounds cool, would love to have them!

I'd like to see a new monster type, the Star Trek TOS "Doomsday Machine", a giant space-cone of destruction that turns planets into rubble and vaporizes ships with ease.
