Error with serial code

I just purchased and installed Universe on trying to run the exe I got this:


Which is confusing considering it asked for it during the install and seemed fine with it.

Hi Tehlongone,

This is almost always due to anti-virus/security software preventing the installer from finishing its job properly. Could you please try uninstalling, disabling anti-virus/security software and then re-installing?

Thanks, I was about to try reinstalling but I found out I could run it through steam and it works now.
