Turn off mouse-click sounds?

Turn off mouse-click sounds?

Is there a way to reduce the volume of, or turn off, the "beep" you hear when you click the mouse? I've tried turning "effects" down to zero, but I still hear the beeps. It's not a big deal, but the beeps are a bit jarring. Thanks!
