Allied Political Points per day?

Post by Rusty1961 »

I'm using the latest beta and I can't remember from my 2009-2011 days of play, how many Political Points a day the allies generate.

Help?

Thanks!

That will be the same as Japan - 50

It can be changed in scenario editor.

My read of the editor says this is only the number for Scenario 1. Stock scenario 2 has the Japanese at 60/day and a starting balance of 500 versus the Allies' 100.

Me, bribe me!

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

Just use the editor. It'll give you as many points as you want. 9999 per turn? No problem. Good luck getting someone (other than the AI) to play against you. [:D]

Which should be the same case for Stock Scenario 2 given what Moose just revealed about how Japanese biased that scenario is.

Hey, why is here everyone against giving japanese "artifical" advanages ? after all they allways lose in the end, if players are decided to play up to (end of) 46 :).

Not everyone......mostly just me.

I have no problem with giving the Japanese side a boost when the tide turns and they need it to survive.

However, none of the scenarios that beef up Japan do so in a manner that kicks in when the tide turns.

Instead they give the boost to Japan right from the very first day at a time when they are already way more powerful than their opponents and it empowers players of the Japanese side to run rampant in an unrealistic manner.

I say boost the "poor" Japanese side only once they truly become the "poor" Japanese side and NOT when they are already poised to become the masters of the Pacific.
