A reminder of information from times passed... And a question!

Post by KenchiSulla »

Back in beta the following information was shown in the combat report, with Ev being evasion and Sp being speed:

a Japanese AM manuvering ...(Ev 56 / Sp 18)
a Japanese CL manuvering changes...(Ev 52 / Sp 12)
a Japanese APD manuvering changes...(Ev 57 / Sp 21)
a Mutsuki class APD manuvering changes...(Ev 58 / Sp 13)

CA Ashigara manuvering well...(Ev 31 / Sp 31)
CA Ashigara manuvering changes...(Ev 33 / Sp 32)
CA Ashigara manuvering changes...(Ev 36 / Sp 32)
CA Ashigara manuvering changes...(Ev 28 / Sp 34)
CA Ashigara manuvering changes...(Ev 30 / Sp 33)
CA Ashigara manuvering changes...(Ev 36 / Sp 27)
CA Ashigara manuvering changes...(Ev 29 / Sp 37)
CA Ashigara manuvering changes...(Ev 33 / Sp 34)

Be reminded that during combat both the Evasion value and Speed value can change.

Now a question for the knowledgable: Does the Naval skill of the ship commander affect these values?

Wow. I wish this was still in there. Pretty interesting stuff.

Naval skill should affect all maneuvering I would guess, as it's how the commander uses the ship's capability.

What version you playing? I have never seen this in our PBEM...1.7.1123M, but then we haven't upgraded beta in a while.

It's still there in a report called aar.txt. It looks like it can only be enabled for debug though.
