RE: Game 11 GD1938?
Two of the other ones I am involved in are rather slow, one I fear is dying. One of them is going pretty ok. I think I might be able to do another one, if I play only one nation. And if I don´t confuse it with the others. So No Germany and No soviet Union for me this time around
How many players you looking for? Any house rules apart from the obvious one, that wars must be genuine, and you cannot be at war with yourself.

Well obviously my preferred stop of war till sept 1939 did not work. So no special rules.
Who do you want to play? I already played Germany Italy and Japan and the US China is currently one I am playing.
So I guess I am up for anybody.
How many depends on who offers to play.
Any suggestions?

I think I would prefer Japan. But I am open to suggestions. For a fast moving game I´d recommend either 4 or 5 players ...
That would be:
1). Germany & Italy
2). Japan
3). USSR
4). France/Britain
5). USA/China
I could go with France/Britain I guess or USA/China, if forced to...
And if we were only 4 players, then the Axis played by one player.

Well, I'm willing. But I have not played this version before. And have not played ATG for several months.
I am retired so I got plenty of time. Eyes not so good but got 32" monitor to make up for that problem.

RE: Game 11 GD1938?
That makes four of us...
I am unwilling to play the Axis, but could be convinced of Britain/France, ... if need be...
Jeffrey H is unwilling to play Britain/France...
And the rest of you are willing to play whatever (i presume)
I would suggest Soviet Union or US/China for LJBurstyn, since the Axis is pretty hard to play (my estimation)...

Twotribes, will you do the honors of deciding who plays what and such, and getting peoples emails, so we can either PBEM or by dropbox (I think I can setup dropbox if needed)...?

Works for me, I'm not a dropbox user. I prefer using yahoo mail attachments for the turns.

RE: Game 11 GD1938?
Before we start, I have a real dumb question. How do you give items or hexes to an ally ? I noticed it being done in some of the AAR's but I don't know how to do it.

There are two buttons on the bottom row. One looks like a stack of squares, one like a stack of hexes. The square are units, the hex is (duh) hexes.
If you are in units and select a HQ then all the units under that HQ, and the HQ, are transferred. If a single unit is selected, then only that unit.
If you are transferring hexes you are given a chance to specify a radius, be careful here! You can also choose a single hex.
If you have multiple allies you get to chose who to donate to.
Very nice, but a mistake can have consequences, so care is advised.

RE: Game 11 GD1938?
When you are allied with someone it will be available, actually the way to do it is on the string of command boxes on the bottom of the screen. As you work your way from the left to the right it is a slightly purple as I recall box there are 2 of them, if you have troops in the hex. One allows you to change land one allows you to change troops. It is near the end of the string of commands. About where the command to see your supply range is if you were clicked on a headquarters I think.
The way to transfer troops has two things to know. If all you want is to transfer a single unit you simply click on the box select the ally you are transferring it to and accept. If you want to transfer an army you can select the headquarters and when you transfer the Headquarters all units attached to that headquarters change sides as well.

I can accept being US/China.
LJBurstyn told me he has a very small email account, with a limit of 5 Mb to it. I am not sure if he wants to play if it is not via dropbox.

RE: Game 11 GD1938?
I think it can be both, Twotribes can use Dropbox with the Italy-Japan transfer and LJBurstyn can use Dropbox for the Japan-Great Britain transfer. Ernieschwitz can email the turn to Jeffery H. who can email it to TwoTribes.
Germany(TT) --(Self)-> Italy(TT) --(DB)-> Japan(LJB) --(DB)-> France(CPdY) --(Self)-> Great Britain(CPdY) --(DB)-> USA(ES) -(-DB)-> China(ES) --(Email)->-( USSR(JH) --(Email)-> Germany(TT)
I think I have the order of play right - do i?

RE: Game 11 GD1938?
So this is basically what you are suggesting:
Twotribes does his turns, for Germany and Italy, put them in dropbox.
LJBurstyn does his turn, for Japan mails it to Jeffrey H.
Jeffrey H does his turn, for USSR, mails it to Cpdeyoung
Cpdeyoung does his turn, for France and Britain, puts it in dropbox.
Ernieschwitz does his turn for US and China, puts it in dropbox.
Twotribes gets his turns from dropbox.
Yeah... it might work..
