BA-SPM and Prt/Scn

This forum supports the Early Access Program for the PC for Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager (SPM). iOS, Android and Mac releases are still in development. SPM is the ultimate game of space exploration. It is the mid 1950s and the race for dominance between the US and the Soviet Union is about to move into a new dimension: space. Take charge of the US or Soviet space agencies - your duty is be the first to the moon. Carefully manage your budget by opening programs, spending R&D funds on improving the hardware, recruiting personnel and astronauts and launching space missions in this realistic turn based strategy game.

BA-SPM and Prt/Scn

This does not work as a way to take screenshots, as the screenshot is not of the game itself but of the startup screen (play, update etc). Will this be fixed?
Was thinking of doing an Noob-AAR (to show how the game feels to someone who just jumped in), but with no pictures I will not do so atm.

Hello terje,

To be honest, I wasn't even aware this was an issue. I always grab screenshots from the development environment or by running the exe directly. I'll look into it but, in the meantime, maybe you can run the game in windowed mode in order to take the screenshots?

When I enter the headquarter, press on the earth (planet), chose satelites, the screen goes black when I am in windowed mode

Mmmm... never heard of such a problem. Can I ask you to upload the output_log.txt file (it's under the SPM-Windows_Data subfolder in the installation directory)?

Also, are you running the game at 1366x768?

But do not know if this is written for the crashed games as there is no autosave for them?

Unfortunately, the logfile doesn't tell me much. It gets wiped out every time the game is re-launched, so you'll need to send me a version right after the game crashes.

Also, give it a go at 1366x768, since that's the only resolution supported for now. I know the launcher gives you more options, but the numbers provided there are beyond my control, as the game will list all 16:9 resolutions supported by your computer and not just 1366x768, which is the only option meant to be used for now.

That worked. I could use any resolution when not windowed though.

Cool, glad to hear that [:)]. Yes, now that you mention it I remember a fellow player in the Slitherine forums mentioned a similar issue sometime ago. I'll take a look into it.
