I seriousry exprored the "Port Hueneme gambit". I figure Japan-mens could have regimental randing at Port Hueneme and Newport Beach in about 18-19 d. Then we crose in on the Santa Monica pier from the North and brow up all the oil stuff on Signal Hill and Long Beach. Maybe stop-ah to take pictures at Growman's Chinese and then get Herr out of-ah there.

Of course, if American-mens send boy scouts to Ros Angeres then pran not-ah work.

A Japanese landing in Los Angeles would likely be a strategic defeat (because of all the emergency reinforcements) but it would an entertainment gold mine. [:D]

How about an air base on Catalina to shut down LA and San Diego. [:D][:D] The Arries would have to attack with unrestricted units to clear Catalina. [:D] Not sure where Japan-mens ships would get suppries. [:D]

If not Catalina, perhaps then Cristobol closing the entry to the Pacific?

But would the emergency reinforcements be restricted? i.e. otherwise a supply drain and a material/armaments drain as they get up to full speed?
