We missed an update. I can barely keep up at 2 turns per week.[:D]

JJ jumped some vengeance drivers in the CBI theater(re). B-24's pounded Prome and broke a bunch of Tojos.

So, it was Stalker Girl's b-day 3 weeks back and she went down to SD for a "girl's night" [8|] I am pretty sure it was hanging out by the pool and complaining about me but I got over it. I didn't have a real present so I took her out to dinner when she got back and, as a special treat, I did a 1/2 Brazillian "manscape". [:D][:D] What a guy, eh?

Anyway, we go out to this gentrified biker bar Friday night and it's a good band so everyone is drinking adult beverages, especially SG, so the higher cortical filters have all been deactivated. I offer to drive the 15 minutes to get home and I'm barely out of the parking lot and she asks (with her 25 year old on in the back set I might add)..

SG: Do you have a new girlfriend?

Well, I figure she might be talking about Pocahantas Gril's sister who also had too much firewater and was shaking her booty a bit too freely when she asked me to dance with her (I am quite certain it was the firewater). Still, better to play dumb. Little did I know the excess booty grinding had been solved with a chica to chica discussion in the parking lot. We were over that and were now going to address a problem that apparently had been festering for 3 weeks

FAM: What the Hell are you talking about?

SG: Who did you shave your ***** for?

FAM: <I try to give the universal facial and neck twitch sign that indicates "can we not talk about this now with your adult son in the back seat?"...I respond, lamely> Well, for you. [:D]

The other funny thing is Pocahantas Girl:

A) Accused me of calling the HOA on her because her Escalade had a flat tire (parked in her own driveway) [:D] It's funny as hell because the same thing happened to me when I had the Suburban and I was sure a neighbor had narc'ed on me. See, this is one of the many corrosive influences the HOA has on our neighborhood.

B) Admitted that she saturated my couch (oops, that was supposed to be a secret..pretend I didn't say anything). Patron is like truth serum to her. [:D]

I actually had to go onto the web to look up Brazilian Manscape (a clear indicator that I have way too much time on my hands) I am almost sixty and soooooo... glad that my generation did not invent this. Leave it to the younger men, I say. I just can't picture myself sitting on the can while trying to wax my junk. [;)]

Don't feel bad. I had to look up "buthole bleaching" [:)]

As for waxing I doubt that is the prefered method except for gay porn "actors" [:)] Well, that's what I heard.

Having done waaay, waaaaaay too many high school sports physicals I can tell you that the young teens are well shorn before anyone except their doctor is likely to notice. I think it is the equivalent of keeping a condom in your wallet when we were in high school....just in case. [:)]

I'd forgotten about them. We buggered up Musashi for you.

Edit, I'd forgotten about the Kuriles invasion force, not the teens.

Edit, edit. This is getting worse, I never knew about the teens. Honestly officer.

Knicked from somewhere else but still...

70 years ago today the crews of 779 aircraft of Bomber Command were briefed for a maximum effort operation, the target was Nuremburg.
Due to combination of weather, the long straight route and the preparedness of the German night fighter force it was to turn into the darkest night of the Command's illustrious history.
96 aircraft of the force that was dispatched failed to return with greater losses in aircrew than all of Fighter Command losses during the Battle of Britain.
Today we remember all the crews who flew on that terrible raid and especially the ones who made the ultimate sacrifice.

A cool piece Sprior, I lived with 1/1 Cav in Schwabach a few clicks south of Nurnburg and am familiar with the place. Ardent Nazi stronghold, and fortified as such. I saw a fake lake 262s used as well the flak set up. Except for the MAN factory and a few IG Farben buildings the real targets were elsewhere. I guess at that time there was some degree of pride and prejudice involved with Harris's decision making.

ps "cool piece", geez I am a hipster dufuss.

*****************Fifth Bomber Command HQ, Horycrappo-jima, July 12, 1943(c)***************

Gen. Kenny: Do you mean to tell me we didnt hit anything with 40+ B-24's, a full moon and Norden bombsights?

Aide: Not really sir, it seems this area here about 23 miles East of the primary has a beautiful grouping. Nearly complete destruction of an outbuilding...here <points to BDA photos>

Gen. Kenny: What is it? Ammo dump? Fuel storage area?

Aide: No sir, our best guess is a farm.

Gen. Kenny: A farm? Colonel, may I remind you the goal here is to disrupt the enemy's war materiel production. At the very least we should try to blow something up that costs more than the bombs we drop.

Aide: Understood, sir.

Gen. Kenny: What is this white stuff off the coast?

Aide: We think those are anchovies, sir.

HMS Resolution, after DC party (no, not Washington 1814)

Stoker Bagsy Baker: 'Ere PO, what was that just floated down the Burma Way?

PO Chalky White: The Jimmy's armchair. Take this 'ammer. See this bung? When I nod my head you hit it.

I'm guessing she is over 81% now. Perhaps send her back to Moulmein and pump her out before she sets off again?

I hope young Chalky does not make a hole in his "bung" with his "'ammer".

Ah, just realized it's the PO who will be sunburned.

And let's get the poor kid some sunscreen. If he has to take to the boats he will look like boiled lobster inside of 2 hrs.

Ah the life of a flange head. Sometimes it is bungs that need to be hit, other times it is holes and now and then it is bungholes.

Yes...quite a dangerous grammatical error by PO White. [:D]

There is a name for that but I have no idea what it is. Seems it could be worse than ending a a sentence with a preposition.
