Scourge of War: Waterloo first Screenshots revealed

Forum dedicated to the Scourge of War Game set during the Napoleonic Wars. Scourge of War: Waterloo follows in the footsteps of its American Civil War predecessors and takes the action to one of the most famous battles in history. Hi,

All looks extremely impressive... :).

Have always been a fan of your games, but also always hoped you would eventually jump to Napoleonic Wars... so fantastic news.. !

Looking forward to the game...
All the best,
Kip.
PS. Like a few others... feel Napoleonic Wars is just slightly more interesting tactically. ACW... good... but rifle muskets with their percussion caps and such... just that bit too dominant ;).

I visited the battlefield in 1983 and the screenshots look just like they do today especiall Hougoumont.

Other battles worth considering could be (not too big) Austerlitz,Eylau,Marengo.

Just been to the Waterloo battlefield today, in fact. Your farms etc look great. But can I ask what the scale is (I know I keep harping on about this)? I mean, have you got the same reduced scaling that you have in SOWGB etc? where all objects on the map (those beautifully drawn buildings etc) are roughly 4 times larger than in real life, relative to the terrain features?

Thanks,

Peter
