Build 497 Noticed under side selection in editor that there is now a collective responsibility option.
What does it do. How can it be used?

IIRC this is explained in the manual.

Okay I am going senile or perhaps blind , had a look at manual again but can't find . Sunburn have you got a page reference mate?

COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY: When checked; If any unit of a non-hostile side commits a hostile act, the whole side is designated hostile.

(In other words, when not checked, the sins of the one do not reflect bad on the many.)

Thanks folks, got it. Going to put it down to blindness since I don't like the other option
