Buttoned vehicles and autospotting

Post by madDdog67 »

I meant to post this earlier when I first noticed it, but it appears that buttoned vehicles are auto-spotting adjacent units in covered terrain--in this case a building. I just checked the most recent version of the board game rules I have (3.1), and it's still says "Shaken units, buttoned vehicles, and flying helicopters don't automatically spot adjacent units."

Is this a change for HoS only?

Nope, it was an overlooked rule, fixed in 1.03 or later.

Ah, cool. And I just realized that during the game I just played to remind me to post this, that it was an open topped vehicle I was moving around. I had hit the button up button, and just assumed I had a closed top vehicle. Need to pay more attention to my units. :).
