That video was from New Zealand. Unless they improved the range of the Mosquito, it probably wasn't that aircraft. :-)

You can't beat the sound of the warbirds as they fly by.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

I could just listen to the audio of that for quite a while and be happy

Wow. That sound.

The one I watched after with the 16 Spits, in formation, then diving over the field (!!!) about made me weep from the rumble of those Merlins.

Fly Over By WW2 Mosquito Fighter Bomber And Friends

witpqs - you have friends? I'm going to have to kick you out of the club. The application form was very clear about that.

Wow!

Many other interesting videos over there. Never heard before about the historic "Charlie Brown and Franz Stigler incident" when a shot-up B-17 was being escorted half-way back to England by a Me-109 - out of pity and compassion. Guess I'm going to spend some time on youtube.

Thanks for sharing!

One of the most amazing stories of the war. The fact that they met later and became friends is even more incredible. Gives me the chills.

On one of my visits to U-505 at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry the tour guide told us that recently a crewmember of U-505 and a crewmember of one of the Allied ships were on the same tour. I've never really believed it, but it's still something fascinating to think about.
