T'was indeed.

Pop Quiz: At the end of the song the singer says some lines from a poem by Edgar Allen Poe:

Is all that we see or seem, but a dream within a dream?

Which 1980's horror film features those words?

Now Maitland, now's your time!

Warspite1,

I have a stab at Picnic at Black Rock. It's the only one I remember.

However, it is not the answer I am looking for. Any more guesses?

Since the quote is about dreams I go with A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Curtis Mayfield

Sadly, I don't think much has changed from when this movie/album came out.

Right now I'm enjoying the Bruce Springsteen performance from Cape Town SA on Jan 28, 2014. The E Street Band sounds powerful, and Bruce at age 64 is singing better than he ever has. This will be a good year for me, what with the Stones starting a tour in March. Who says that rock n roll is dead?

In Sweden we worship Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and hopefully he will return to Stockholm soon.
