Looking forward to giving this a try; I want to do an AAR of tukker's The Crucial Bridges scenario from his Brabant Breakthrough pack, and a new patch always gets me back into Command Ops for at least one scenario.

Not a big fan of betas but really do appreciate those that are and are willing to put in the time to do the testing.
Thanks guys!
That said: any idea about when the real deal will be released?

I hope to fix this issue that "freezes" the game today and then put out a hot fix probably tomorrow. I want top give people a good week to try it out and if we don't get any show stoppers then I will release a final release version of the patch the following week.

I've noted some strange surrender behavior. It occurs after units break and rout away to safety. Ok, but even after recovering from the rout, hours later a unit will continue to bleed away surrenders until it disbands completely. No enemy units nearby, no incoming fire for hours after the "rally". I have some .rar files that track the saga of C Battery/109th FA Bn during the Race for Bastogne scenario. It was assisting in the defense of Drauffelt on the afternoon of Day 2, when it broke under fire and routed about 4 km, being bombarded for a final time at 1820 Day 2. It rested unmolested, recovered to 'green dot' status, yet bled away surrenders overnight until it finally surrendered at 0836 on the morning of Day 3.
Has anyone else noted that once a unit breaks, they just melt away?

I've already mentioned that units seem to throw the towel very fast now but I haven't checked the unit stats but it could explain some surprising edns of units.

Then whom do they "surrender" to?

This is disbandment, rather than surrender. The personnel are being incorporated into other formations. I agree that it seems overegged at the moment, but it is important to distinguish between lost units/Personnel (surrenders) and lost units due to Personnel re-assignment (disbandment).

Because there was no one to surrender to, or because it bled away so-called "surrenders" until it disbanded?
There should be a disbandment message in the logs.

I just played the first historical scenario as the Allies from BftB under the .270 version and saw several messages claiming that Axis units had indeed "surrendered" from behind their own lines!
I suspect these units had disbanded, but the message did say "surrendered".
I wonder if this is generic, because the AAR showed many Axis disbandment's.

I need to check that out, Joe.
