crashes with beta 4.2?

Time of Fury spans the whole war in Europe and gives players the opportunity to control all types of units, ground, air and naval. Not only that, each player will be able to pick a single country or selection of countries and fight his way against either the AI or in multiplayer in hotseat or Play by E-Mail. This innovative multiplayer feature will give player the chance to fight bigger scenarios against many opponents, giving the game a strategic angle that has no equal in the market. The game uses Slitherine’s revolutionary PBEM++ server system.

crashes with beta 4.2?

I think its 4.2, whatever the most recent available here is.. I can get the game going, but its a crash fest.. are there settings I could use to avoid crashes? Playing non modded campeings as axis nations human

I suggest going into all nations and remove their fleets, and then prevent them from building by making the cost too high. See if that helps. I am noticing that CTD's ingame (not at start up) seem to happen with fleet battle calculation period.

You should get the 1.05 patch and install it.

Are you running Win7 or Win8?

I've never had ingame crashes of any kind. The only crashes I've had in the last couple of years are at startup, in PBEM games. But I run Win7.

Almost all my CTDs are on loading, mostly with saved games, in both Windows 7 and 8, I can usually get the game going eventually, usually by loading a stock scenario first before moving to a saved game and always starting in 'Custom' setting. Windows 7 and v1.04 have been more reliable.

We are planning to release final stability patch for Time of Fury next month. Just an hour ago I have sent 1.09 Strategic War in Europe to Matrix

Attention to the stability issues would be very welcome, but is there a possibility of any further development of the game, particularly the AI convoy routing problem, as most other items can be handled by the payers with mods and use of F12, but convoy behaviour is fixed in the game.

What will this patch be called, 1.06 (was 1.05 ever an official patch)? What will it fix? A "final stability patch"... will it allow for alternate convoy routing (not through the med)? I have experienced several PBEM problems...in a present game (Barbarossa)everytime I try to add a commander to a unit I get a CTD...has this been fixed in this final patch? Several of my PBEM opponents and myself included have had ongoing PBEM games suddenly start CTD's on opening...a bummer when 50 or more turns into a game...is this one of the fixes in the final stability patch?
