Clarifying costs of the game

Post by Joseignacio »

Hello, I just decided to review the costs of the game ...

When I bought the game it costed me:

According to my Visa Extract (in euros):

07/11/2013 PLI*MATRIX GAMES (18663127733 - Chipre) 112,00

which is in the same line as the Matrix payment receipt :

World in Flames - Physical with Free Downl1 EUR 78.99 EUR 78.99
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Envío: EUR 33.00
Total: EUR 111.99

Where Envío stands for: Delivery

************************************

Plus, I have this new charge paid to Fedex when receiving the delivery of books + CD (which we were warned would happen):

06/12/2013 PLI*MATRIX GAMES (Plimus,Inc - Chipre) 47,98

But I get the tax info from Fedex:

DUTIES AND TAXES INVOICE (ROD)

[...]

ARANCEL ADUANAS 0,00 * Custom taxes
IVA ADUANAS 2,44 * Toll VAT (?)
GASTOS ADMINISTRATIVOS 13,50 Administrative expenses (!) :O
2,50% sobre 2,44(minimo 13,50)

Plus IVA VAT(again) on 13,5 : 2,84

Total factura 18,78

The difference between 47,98 and 18,78 = 29,2 is what? Was this the books' cost?

So the final cost for me was 160.

Upstairs, in bold the original texts, followed by explanations in normal text.

The cost for the download or boxed edition now in Spain (Intermediate VAT tariff) is: 79 + 16,6 (21% VAT 79)= 95,6

So we can say now that the books costed us 160 - 95,6 = 64,4 € Including price books + tax on books + transport.

On my FedEx bill I have a copy of the commercial invoice (this must have been filled in by Matrix Games and/or associates). It has some unit prices that amount to exactly US$ 40.00. Split like:

Backup disc, USA ~ US$ 7.38
PL-MX-World in Flames Global Conflict Book Vol.1. USA ~ US$ 9.23
PL-MX-World in Flames Global Conflict Book Vol.2. USA ~ US$ 10.46
PL-MX-World in Flames Global Conflict Book Vol.3. USA ~ US$ 12.93

Makes sense, 40$ must be similar to 30€, maybe a little bit more but in the same league. Thanks!

Thanks JoseIgnacio for taking the time to post this. I really appreciate it. I probably still wait for the logistic office to be open in Europe for lower costs.

Gracias tío!
