I thought it died a while ago when someone lost the plot with the 150+ posts made by one individual in a single thread, well it did seem to get very quiet after that [:(]

We are all still here, some are thawing out, some still freezing...and on occasion "Silence is Golden" and "Be Seen and not Heard". [:)]

Okay glad to hear it. I thought for a moment that everyone had retired to Albania to become goat herders or something...

Robert, how are things in the English countryside these days? Or the big city?

This thread reminds me of something... if I could just remember what it is.

^ This.

That, and I tend to overstay my welcome on forums by picking philosophical fights with just about everyone around. Sometimes it is indeed better to be seen and not heard. So I'll just creep back into my little corner for a while and get drunk while playing Panzer Corps.

And... garden season is right around the corner as well, so my time outside getting vitamin D while digging around in the dirt shall commence soon. My gardening hobby isn't so much a hobby as it is a crusade against all the laws of nature that seek to impede my desire to grow tomatoes.

So no, I won't be moving to Albania to become a goat herder... just out to my backyard to herd grasshoppers and aphids.

Well, that would be a fate *worse than* death, not death itself, no?

You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Alive, busy reading and playing Battle Academy with an old friend I know since schooldays. All other games pretty much on hold. Purchased a book by Sumrall about the Gearing-Class destroyers - I'm on to something for WitP-AE.

I'm working on with my first scenario for TOAW3.4. I'm having some problems with it, so if you could help me out...

Reading forum every couple days. Learning ATG vs AI at the moment, and a PBEM game of TOF. Got Command Ops:BFTB recently and am starting to get it (a slow learner!)...are the news crews on their way to cover "the big city" story yet???!
