Matrix Games (non-TOAW related)

Post by Raindem »

Hi. Sorry for the off-topic post but this is the only forum on Matrix that I post in and I'm sure someone here has some input.

I received a Matrix gift certificate for Christmas. I've always wanted to try either a Civil War game or an American Revolution game. I'm looking at the following titles:

Civil War: Forge of Freedom; War Between the States; Civil War II
Revolution: For Liberty; Birth of America; Birth of America 2

Anyone play any of these games? Any recommendations?

Thanks

Curt

Thanks Jeff. Based on the descriptions, FoF and CW2 appear more grand strategy oriented than the Gary Grigsby game. Which do you prefer of those two?

CW2 for sure - the AGEOD guys do great work and present fantastic games!

But, also, Matrix doesn't sell crap... Every game they present is good and recieved well.
