It's called marketing. A company doesn't run 12 commercials in a row on television. It doesn't have 12 pages in a row of ads in a magazine. It doesn't show the same ad year after year. College courses are taught on how to market products - (and not all of them are evil[:D]).

There is an enormous amount of information based on experience as to what works and what doesn't. Dumping a ton of material on a potential customer and expecting him/her to read everything and sort through everything is one way that definitely doesn't work. Look at the View Counts for the different tutorials; people are self-selecting whether they are interested in reading more [or not].

As much as I hate ads (the mute button for my TV remote has been worn down to a blank) most of the products people buy are because they saw them advertised somewhere at some time. That's true for me too.

And by the way, the tutorials were not created/designed for marketing purposes. What is being posted is exactly what customers receive. They are being presented in numerical order. There is no intent to deceive anyone here.

Salesmen... Always looking to bait us into buying things that are useless, aren't they... [:-] [:D] [;)]
