ORIGINAL: GJK

I think that I'll throw that recipe in to the slow cooker this weekend and see how it comes out. ;)

Re: The Gentleman's Club: is it a "ladder" site for various games or merely a match-finding and games discussion group?

Let me know how you like it. It's an old recipe from the wife's family. I'd get it all done and then throw it in the slow cooker. The dumplings need to be dropped in boiling broth and the chicken has to boil too. We let ours simmer all day. The longer it simmers the heartier the broth becomes. If you want a recipe for homemade dinner rolls let me know. They're easy. I make them all the time. It just takes a few hours because the dough has to rise a few times and be punched down.

Thanks Missouri. Don't worry, I'm pretty thick-skinned.
GJK - The club does support a ladder, rated on Elo.
There are members who use it to record their games played.
Basically, the club is Ladder orientated but, one is not
excluded from the club should they prefer to not be on the ladder.

Yeah, we don't mean nuthin' by it. We're just simple country folk and our jaundiced eye waters sometimes from all the horsesh*t that gets slung around these here parts. Derp...

Thanks for the recipe, Reb... I'll return the favor. This one's real good if you're busted on ideas for that thawed chicken. Easy, too.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1 cup dry bread crumbs

2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried basil leaves (this one's optional)

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Directions...

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2.In a bowl, blend the olive oil and garlic. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, and pepper. Dip each chicken breast in the oil mixture, then in the bread crumb mixture. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, and top with any remaining bread crumb mixture.

3.Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

No problem Boomer. My site is open to all, just
a bit miffed at some of the comments that came up
when, at the end of the day, it's quite an innocent
attempt to offer a club site that some maybe interested in!
Anyway, I'll copy your recipe and try it out, lol!

Hehe boomer. We make this quite often only we use the Italian bread crumbs. I agree. It is good Sometimes when it's about done we put an Alfredo sauce on it and bake it a little longer. I can eat chicken breast almost every day if it were up to me.

Btw, you weren't pokin fun at me were you Boomer?

Pokin' fun? Nah... shakin'... shaken fun, not stirred...

That dumplin' recipe looks mighty tasty. We'll have to exchange some Holiday recipes, what with Tanksgivin' coming up and all.
