Changing Production in Production Planning Screen

Post by Dave3L »

I've tried to make sense of the Production Planning Screen, but can't seem to figure out how to make the Aussie resources end up in Canada and all the Canadian resources in the UK.

Any tips on how to handle this?

Select an Australian resource and a factory in Canada. Make sure you have a convoy pipeline from Australia to Mexico (or thereabouts). Then with the resource selected, click on the Rail/Ship radio button for Produce. You will be prompted for a destination, and the factory you want should be on the list of viable destinations.

That should be all that you need to do. Click on Recompute to see if the resource goes to your intended destination. It should use the pipeline you have set up. Indeed, using the Route layout, you should be able to see the pipeline in both the route list grid and on the insert global map (check the 1 Route check box).

It's possible that part of your convoy pipeline might be committed to sending another resource somewhere. So if the route isn't what you wanted, you will need to define the route precisely. That requires a lot more words to explain - and they are in the Players Manual.
