Yes, I have been to Kiel several times.

I have also visited the soviet Tango-class submarine in Hamburg and the International Maritime Museum in Hamburg. The museum has a huge collection of 1:1250 scale model ships. 36.000 ships that are hardly longer than a finger.

Since I don't know if the admins of this forum allow links here, I did not post any. But if anybody is interested, I can post some links or even some pictures that I took in the museum.
