taking oob from another scenario

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

taking oob from another scenario

Post by Gratch1111 »

Lets say I play scen 1 as Russia, With a tank bat+Mech bat I attack and win, I win but lose half of my force. Save the game, can I create a new scenario with my remaining force from battle no 1? This would be really helpful if you want to make a mini Campaign of your own.

Gratch11,

That is similar to how our campaigns work now. You can make a scenario with core forces (your units that will be in all battles) and link a number of scenarios together. Your force will fight and then you will have options as to how to rest and refit your core forces before the next battle. You can add "attached" assets in each scenario to supplement your force.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

Short answer, at this time, is no.

You can't save a force and port that into another scenario. Obviously, you can create a new scenario or campaign if you add all those forces into a new scenario/campaign template.
