Russian infantry divisions upgrading to 44 Volksturm TOE

In my game server game against Terje I have just seen a report that 2 Russian infantry divisions have upgraded to 44 Volksturm TOE surely that is incorrect.

There were lots of russian volunteers fighting with the Wehrmachst against Stalin, these may be the difs you have seen. A Soviet division would be a Rifle division.

I've downloaded the most recent save from your game. Can you tell me what were the division numbers reported as upgrading to 44 Volksturm TOE. I looked at both sides and didn't see anything obviously wrong, but I'd need to have more info to find the units.

Doesn't the event log list the upgrade?

Joel it was from the turn before my last save the report said
102nd infantry division is upgraded to 44 Volksturm TOE and will now be known 102nd Volksturm Division
the other division was the 208th infantry division once it was upgraded it will be known as 208th Vollksturm
division. I might be wrong about the titles of the 2 divisions they may be Volks Grenadier divisions rather than VolkSturm.

Denniss I am playing as the Russian so shouldn't be getting German units although a couple of SS Panzer divisions wouldn't go amiss [:D][:D]

Ahh, showing up in the Soviet log, a small detail missing from the original post.
We had a similar report from the Stalingrad to Berlin scenario and I believe someone is looking into it. If it's an easy fix it will probably be fixed.

Maybe unit side or nationality or something like that is not set correctly.

If it's an infantry division, then sounds like it's a German unit just showing up in the wrong player's report.
