Turn 158

Overall
Another bad turn for us. Sean is doing a far too good job in three aspects;
a) he keeps attacking the battered divisions, and they will usually retreat or rout, hence losing even more troops and guns.
b) he is doing an extremely good job with his breakthroughs. He knows it does not matter if he loses a corps or two.
c) His ability to breech level 3 forts in one turn.
So, we fall back once more, and I doubt this rout will stop before mud hits...
43 USSR attacks resulted in 17 helds, 1 scouted, 20 retreats, 3 routs and 2 surrenders, while our 1 attack resulted with a retreat.

Losses
USSR : 51.000 troops, 491 guns, 276 AFVs, 392 AC.
Axis : 76.000 troops, 1.168 guns, 127 AFVs, 116 AC.

Axis units destroyed
123rd, 292nd and the 294th Infantry Divisions.
301st and the 311th StuG Brigades.
616th HeavyJagdPanzer Battalion.
9th Machine Gun Battalion.
3nd Rumanian Security Division.

Partisans
we eliminated 2, leaving 1.

I doubt I will be able to manage that, as I simply do not have enough units to form such a line... Might have to abandon Rumania and Hungary and take up position in the mountains...

Turn 159 aka Soviets on German soil

Overall
The first units are inside East Preussia, and the 3rd Panzer Division is cut off. Not a good turn this either. We pull back some, shuffle some troops around in the vain hope that we will manage to do as Pelton in Rumania, apart from that we cannot really do anything.
31 USSR attacks ended with 15 helds, 1 scouted and 15 retreats. Our 2 attacks both resulted in retreats.

Losses
USSR : 54.000 troops, 561 guns, 283 AFVs, 267 AC.
Axis : 32.000 troops, 532 guns, 97 AFVs, 70 AC.

German units disbanded
101st, 102nd and the 103rd RHG Commands and 1 Fortified Zone

Partisans
All 5 are gone.

Turn 160

Overall
For the time being, I call this a good turn. Although the USSR made some advances in the south, they did not make any serious advances elsewhere. Rumania will fall in 3-5 turns I think, but I have been able to scrape together some forces and do like Pelton suggested. So, when Rumania falls, I will fall back in the south, and try to reach a line in the south. For now, we keep digging all over the place.
38 USSR attacks resulted in 9 helds, 28 retreats and 1 surrender. Our 5 attacks gave 1 held, 3 retreats and 1 rout.

Losses
USSR : 53.000 troops, 641 guns, 218 AFVs, 505 AC.
Axis : 59.000 troops, 1.038 guns, 197 AFVs, 184 AC.

German units destroyed
3rd Panzer Division, 303rd StuG Brigade, 88th and 521st Heavy JagdPanzer Battalion.

German units disbanded
12 Fortified Zones.

Partisans
All 4 are wiped out.

You only need to screen Romania and Hun as this will never get flipped in time to get rail lines up and running for a threat from the south.

GHC forses will get packed into a very narrow area soon at that point you do try and hold your ground.

are your units that are getting pocketed and surrendering returning to game the next turn?

Yup, they reappear, but they take a looong time to get ready again now, but that makes sense with the lack of manpower.

Turn 161 aka It does not rain, it friggin' pours

Overall
So, I felt I had things somewhat under control (as far as the Axis can ever be in control in -44), and in enters Sean...Another pocket is formed, the northern line is breeched, and I am running low on reserves pretty much everywhere. I reopened the pocket (mainly because it is close to my own forces, and it was extremely lightly held (I think Sean did not see the 4 PzDivs I had in the area), and in the north we fall back, which means Konigsberg is now a frontline city.
65 USSR attacks this turn gave a result of 23 helds, 2 scouted, 35 retreats and 5 routs (Rumanians manning the front to save German lives). We made 4 attacks, scoring 1 held (1 PzDiv+1InfDiv vs 1 PzBrig in the open...After mid -42 hasty attacks is a no go for the Axis.) and 3 retreats.

Losses
I am guessing there were some...

German units destroyed
6/46th SP Flak Company and the XXXIX Panzer Corps.

German units disbanded
3 Fortified Zones and a Rumanian division is merged with another.

Partisans
We destroy all 6.

The expected pocket did not form, and Sean instead made a push along the entire front. The distance to the nearest Rumanian city is now 6 hexes.
89 USSR attacks this turn, ending with 33 helds, 45 retreats, 2 scouted and 9 routs. We scored a 100% with our one attack, gaining a retreat (merely to gain some morale for an InfDiv).

Losses
USSR : 73.000 troops, 938 guns, 227 AFVs, 513 AC.
Axis : 82.000 troops, 1.894 guns, 172 AFVs, 166 AC.

German units disbanded
1 Fortified Zone.

Partisans
We destroy all 3.

There was a bug that has been fixed concerning that vehicle Terje. It isnt historic production numbers u seeing, a its a data fix it doesnt back date.

Just to let u know. Btw i dont see much of a tiger pool any more, happy? [:D] and damn it hold out i put my money on u[;)]

GHC armaments ONLY at 229,000 ?

If these are GHC ONLY numbers then 1.07.10 did not fix the issue and there is something wrong still with the conversions as you clearly have armaments and manpower to put the 1.1 million men into your units.


If true your getting your head handed to you because the game engine is still not working as it should and you need to put this in the tech support area asap.

Only the numbers written there, I know a zero is nothing, but adding them at the end of other numbers messes stuff up ;)

Do you mean like

There is no ammo bug
There is no armaments bug
There is nothing wrong when you have 1.2 million men in pool and 250,000 arm pts in pool
There is nothing wrong with how NM is working.

Which I was right about long before they were finally fixed?

Who was tilting the Wind mill on all them issues, it clearly was not me as I was proven right on all of them.

As in the past when people become so defensive about stuff before looking at the data shows that there personal feelings are more important then looking at the data.

Again you attacked me personally for simply asking Terje a question, why?

It is nothing new as it is the standard MO to attack me personally and try and brush things under the rug.
