Newby willing to stand a kicking to learn the game

That's about it really. I've played a couple of scenarios to the point where the AI is annoying me, so want to step it up a bit. I'm a pretty experienced gamer, so I'm fine with strategy and tactics, but the mechanics of this one are obviously pretty daunting. Happy to play Tocaff or someone of equivalent experience, as long as they're willing to use it as a tutorial at points.
