Designs can become accidentally obsolete

With 1.9.0.8 I noticed that whenever I klick "manually upgrade design" on a manual design and then cancel the design screen this design becomes obsolete. Don't know whether that happens with auto designs also, but even so it's quite annoying ...

I've noticed this too. The best way to handle it is just to remember this happens and immediately unobsolete the design - it will still appear until you close the window or edit another design, after which you'll have to sort through all the other obsolete designs to find it.

Ancient bug. It's been the subject of tech support forum posts for ages.

It's not actually a bug - it's designed to obsolete it as soon as you click that button.

I'll see if we can have it unobsolete it if you cancel.

Also worth noting that for every issue that someone considers long-unfixed, there have usually been ten others that we did fix. [8D]

Thanks for this report.

This is fixed in the next update so that the previous design is not obsoleted unless the new design is saved.
