If I recall correctly, the next item on the docket is a modding-focused expansion, then the team plans to move on to a new engine for a future DW2. No date on either item, but both are a healthy distance off, seeing Shadows was released just recently.
The Distant Worlds sale made my purchase possible. Thank you!
