Invasions limited to 1 division per TF.
No US invasion of Japan until all of the Phillipines taken.
12/7/41: (Historical 1st turn)
Philippines: Jap airstrikes hit Clark Field, destroying 30+ fighters and 12 B17s on the ground. B17s try a raid on Saigon with little effect - too few bombers available. Japanese invasions take North Luzon, Lagaspi, Davao. 1 US Sub sunk by air raids in Manila port (could have been worse).
Malaysia/Borneo: 27 Buffaloes and 30 Bleinheims destroyed by Jap airstrikes on Singers. Force Z hit but both Prince of Wales (42% damage) and Repulse (81% damage) survive (lucky!). Invasions take Khota Baru, Singora, Kuching and Miri.
Elsewhere: Pearl Harbor is not shown (standard scenario damage applies), Guam and Tarawa are taken.

Philippines: CA Houston and CL Boise bombard Davao to try and supress enemy air power, unfortunately both take torp hits from G4Ms while attempting to retire ... both survive but will have a challenging time getting to safe waters. At Manila, Fuso-type BBs bombard, then the 56th Div lands and takes the base. Here I really screwed up - SWPac and Asiatic fleet did not get moved and were both destroyed [:@] Well, the SWPac command will come back (without MacArthur) but the Asiatic fleet is gone for good ... I definitely have some rust to shake off ... 48th Div lands at Lingayen, held off initially but the base falls at the end-of-turn ... Nagato/Kongo-type BBs bombard Caygayen ... Negros and Mindoro fall ...
Malaysia/Borneo area: Tarakan and Bangkok fall to troops marching overland ... Hong Kong falls, the British DD stationed there escapes, bombarding Tarakan on the way out ... BB Prince of Wales escapes Singapore towards Java, but BC Repulse is not so lucky - failed to move at the beginning of the turn, she is caught by Netties and sunk ...
Dutch East Indies: Escapees from Manila (AV Langley and DDs, APs, AO, MCS) manage to move down the Macassar straights with the loss of just 1 DD; CL Marblehead and Clemson DDs patrol Menando, 1 DD sunk by G4Ms ... Dutch squadron patrols Kendari and is hammered by KB - several CLs and DDs sunk, only CL DeRuyter and a few DDs stagger out still afloat ... an Engineer unit takes Kendari end-of-turn ... IJA unit (56th Grp) lands on Ambon, takes it end-of-turn.
Elsewhere: South Seas Bde takes Madang amphibiously, 6th lands on Guadalcanal and takes it, Rabaul taken, an SBF lands on Espiritu Santo an takes the undefended base; Ellis Island is taken by the Wake SBF and the South Pacific HQ is lost [:(] ... 4th SBF takes Port Morseby, 18 Wirraways lost ... Milne Bay taken by an Engineer unit, B17s from Australia manage to sink 1 Kagero DD ...
Ugly turn ... need to watch the placement of HQs and squadrons quite carefully going forward ...
