So sad to hear this. He was so positive regardless of what was happening with himself.

You will be missed.

Hi all,

Goodbye Des... rest in peace... you, unfortunately, didn't cheat the death second time around... [:(]

Fair winds mate - we will miss you both here and in "THE THREAD!!!" !

Leo "Apollo11"

P.S.
I know that Des posted picture of him hiking recently (I think in "THE THREAD!!!") but I was unable to find it...

Truly sad news. [:(]

While I never really talked to Des he came across as a really nice fellow and true gentleman.

Sad News. He was always very considerate and helpful to many players. Seemed very nice with new players.

Thanks for letting us know.

Makes one sad to think that we could lose a regular and if there is no one to contact an opponent/forum friend of his then we would never know of the loss. Tough thing to think about.

Hi all,

Thanks to Mike "nashvillen" for finding this picture of Des (I was ubale to track it down yesterday and asked for help in "THE THREAD!!!"!
ORIGINAL: DivePac88

Just went for a walk in the park with my OT, and Dixie the Dog. Ours is the House on the left with the hedge, so you see I've covered a bit of ground. You can see the rain coming out-of the Alps, and up the Lake, and it is raining heavily now when I posting this.
