OT - Which two: AE, Stanley Cup Playoffs or My Better Half?

With my two favorite teams playing for the Stanley Cup, something in Icedawg Land is going to have to give.

My campaign game is starting to get interesting with my opponent invading the Aleutians and pressing the issue a bit in the Burma air campaign. It's gotten me to the point of checking my email every ten minutes to see if the next turn is there. The addiction to AE is too strong. Must . . . keep . . . playing.

The Stanley Cup final round starts Wednesday. It's going to be a classic matchup with two of the most tradition-rich teams in all of sports. Must . . . watch . . . . games.

I sure hope the wife finds some good movies to watch on Net Flix! [:D]

My prediction by the way - Chicago in six. Any Blackhawks fans that agree? Any Bruins fans with other ideas?

Give your wife a dozen flowers, a box of chocolates, and a new credit card. Have another set ready for when she wants to snuggle in the final period of the game. Record the game for when a turn pops up on email as AE is more important.

Wow, the Hawks were definitely lucky to get out of there with a win in game one last night. The Bruins seriously deserved to win that one.

Lucky bounce off the skate to tie the game and a double deflection goal to win in OT - should have been a 3-2 Bruin win. And, taking into account all of the really good chances the Bruins had to put even more past Crawford, the game easily could have been 5-2 or even 6-2 Boston.

The way game 1 went, it could either take the wind out of Boston's sails (which I doubt) or get them charged up knowing that the game should have been theirs (which I suspect will be the case).

In any event, game 2 is going to be worth watching.
