Editor crash game wonder warp fiel precursor

When i raise down the quality on the planet with have the technology warp fiel precusor, an error appear ask me to continu or crash game, the error reapear if you do continu, only option save and re load

Hello, when you say "raise down the quality" can you clarify that please?

Could you also please upload a crash log for us or a save file that duplicates the error?


When reporting a crash problem, it can also be very useful to provide us with a crash file.

Crash logs and save folders are not in the Documents folder.
They are in application data (which may require a folder option change to show "hidden files and folders".

Windows 7:

C:\Users\XXXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Code Force Limited\Distant Worlds\1.9.0.0

Replace the XXXXX with your username and the version with your version number.

What i do is : create a new game as normal empire in age of shadow
open the editor, clic on planet witch have the wonder contain warp fiel precursor,
press enter or clic on other planet or exit editor = game crash

here the crash dump you ask, i did actually play on 1.9.1. I don't have the crash dump for this version but still have the error on 1.9.0 and in 1.9.1

I download the 1.9.0.2 and try, the error is still here. i don't have any crash dump generated

EDIT : i did solve the error, i have a scrolling menu in the editor i can chose between death ray, devastor pulse and warp bubble generator.
Basically the menu is empty, i select warp bubble generator, the error disapear and game run perfectly :)

I've been using the editor quite a bit lately and confirm that I've seen errors like this maybe half a dozen times since Shadows was released. Didn't see it with Legends.

Unfortunately I've never really been too clear what caused the error, but I have had a message like Yomez posted. If it helps you to see any more of these messages I could post them if it happens again.
