AI Improvements?

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

AI Improvements?

Will there be AI improvements for this go around?

For example - the AI decided to drive their entire armored battalion through dense woods? Will the AI conduct their own Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield?

Will they take terrain into effect as they array their forces?

Yes, the AI has been recoded from the ground up in this new game. The AI looks at a number of factors based on the mission objectives of the forces in the scenario. It looks at mobility, visibility, cover, enemy presence, objectives and other parameters to issue and adjust orders. It has also done a good job of surprising both the devs and testers with its actions.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
