Exclamation points/mark next to bases

Post by Buck Beach »

Trying to run a few turns after doing nothing but data work in the game for a couple of years. Will someone please point me to where I can read up about the subject in the book or otherwise assist me?

The exclamation points and crossed swords over bases were added in Patch 1. They are as follows:

Red exclamation point - either you lost a VP last turn from low garrison or the base has critically low supply
Yellow exclamation point - the base is low on supply
Crossed swords - Deliberate or Shock attack occurred in that hex last turn.

I have two installation on my computers but I can see exclamation points and cross swords only on one installation. I'm not sure but I think I have followed the same upgrading path for both and both are running beta 11.23v right now. This facet aside they're both running smoothly and in a similar way. My question is there's some picture file that I could possibly have missed from one of them or something like that? Thanks everybody.

P.S. Not sure if my question would have more suited for the technical forum.

The base icons have the exclamation point and crossed swords. If the files aren't right it could lead to the icons not showing. Look in the art folder for each installation.

I think that exclamation points in an even later patch/Beta can also indicate over stacking.
