Carriers do not lauch if fleet is set to engage?

Post by Tanaka »

I find my carriers will only launch if I target a specific enemy ship? Should this not be changed? Same with monsters if I have a fleet of carriers the only way they will attack is if I click on each monster in the system each time. Since the AI cannot do this it is borked!

Curious too. I think my carriers weren't very aggressive with their fighter launches, either.

I hope this gets looked at in time for the next expantion. I also had some unusual behavior with carriers. I modded my game to make fighter and bomber range about 15 times what it is by default, as well as making hyperspace impossible within system. Sometimes when my CVs would jump into a systm the fighters would launch and go off on a random direction. If I recalled them they would then relanch and go after the enemy. I assumed this was an artifact of my modding but now I'm not so sure.
