Yeah the early videos looked nice to be honest. Some sort of fast paced Jagged Alliance.
Say this "early Alpha" thing, it's a sort of Steam rival of Kickstarter ain't it?

Been in contact with the developer for a couple of weeks. They know what they want and have the right ideas. Was even priviledged enough to try the Alpha earlier and give some advice.

If successful they are thinking about doing special forces expansion packs.

Frozen Synapse II?

Not quite. Not as rigid as that game..your units have more of a TAC AI..Similar in some respects though. However they themselves don't see it as something like FZ.

I enjoyed frozen synapse, but support seemed to drop off. Frozen synapse is turned based so multiplayer is easier while Doorkickers is pausable real time. They could learn alot from frozen synapse's order chaining, there was alot of possible order combinations.Looking forward to see what they add, an editor is a must in my book.

Editor is already sort of there....at least you can see the potential.

It's skirmish, not tactical.

I like the boardgame-like graphics. Maybe I'll buy it if it will have a linux version and won't be too expensive.
