Aye, you've found him out - good show.

I liked the detail of the picture I posted. Bill is right that the pic is big but I really like the close-up of the AAA assets on this guy.

Nice picture, 1EyedJacks. It is interesting to see a 'real life' sized image with discernible men on board for reference sake.

Agreed on the picture size being OK. When you have one with this much detail, bigger is better, as long as you don't get pixialated. Thank you, 1EJ

I'm surprised how far forward the forward fireroom is. If everything aft of the forward funnel is engineering there isn't a lot of anything for the crew to live in.

I know someone who was on a Gearing class DD during Vietnam. He said that essentially the ship was all propulsion. There was very little inside the hull except engines, boilers, fuel and water. Any crew spaces below were crammed into corners.
