Atomic bomb problem

Post by santino250 »

Hi All

I am in the end of October 45, and I still have no bombs available...

I have not been able to load a saved game into the editor... None of the saves appear when I search for them with the editor //Open//. to search for the atomic bomb finish date...

Is their a production switch for the bomb at a certain city?? I can't find one???

Any Help will be appreciated...

I am playing the allies, vs AI. in the beta program from Jan. 07...

I think there is a random associated with A-bomb production. I don't know if it goes into October.

Are you sure you don't have any? They are their own line in the production screen under the Industry/Troops/Resource Pool button, under the I icon on the task bar. They produce by themselves; you don't need to do anything.

Note that only one air unit can load and drop them. The B-29 unit with the number I can't recall right now. [:)] It's the only B-29 unit where A-bomb will be a targetting option. Col. Tibbets is not necessarily the CO.

If you have bombs and they won't load in this B-29 unit perhpas there is a bug. But check the other stuff first.

Thanks. I thought it had a "3" in it.

There is usually a build rate of 1 per 30 days - that is, a chance of getting a bomb of 1 in 30.
A roll of bad dice could mean none in a month.

I have a save game dated Jul 27,1945 and it has 2 atomic bombs in the pool.

tHANKS FOR THE REPLIES...

I am now at the end of October 45, and their is still none, and I have the correct bombing unit at Tinian.. still training option only... and still shows none in the production screen.. so I will keep going... I might not need it anyway... I have conquered half of japans mainland... although i will never be able to conquer Tokyo with some 300+ units....

Thanks

It took me 15 more turns to get the right die roll to build one. [Don't expect to get same result as the dice rolls are random]
It is working but it is hard to get the one exact die roll.
