This is a great addition.

I think I found a minor display bug with this feature. When mousing over the xAP Kashima Maru (found at Kwajalein) in scenario 1 (using the updated / beta data files) it shows "Transport, conversion". Looking at the ship's info screen, there is no conversion or upgrade possibility listed.

The classes starting with 'x' as in xAP of what I am calling 'conversion' should be called "civilian".

Updated description of class type.

After the comprehensive update (Feb?) you released about 30 updates (if I count correctly) making a great game even better.
Heaven knows how many hours of programming, testing, adjusting, releasing went into this.

I'm running version 1.01.08r9 and I get a C++ runtime error sometimes when I try to save the game (or when the autosave tries to save). It is very frustrating because it kills the save game that was there before the save process began. Is this issue known and/or fixed in the beta patch? I'm running windows 7, quad core cpu with the setting "-SingleCpuOrders".

Does this beta include the beta scenario data posted in the other thread- in other words with this beta am I getting the new scenario AI? If not, would the new scenario AI fix the problem with the AI 'forgetting' TF? The Kongo TF has been stuck at khota bharu (spelling?) since the start of the war, doing nothing at all despite no allied forces in theater. Same with the Surface combat group at davao, they simple sit there long after the invasion force has unloaded. Currently nearing the end of DEC 41 and they haven't moved since.

Also on a side note-anyway you can add the ability to split CV based squadrons up (usn early war), I've asked about it in the War Room and some1 said i could change 'max splits' somewhere but not sure where, or if it would work with an ongoing game.

This Beta is code-only.

I have no idea if it impacts the AI and 'forgetting' any TFs. Scan through the release notes and see if anything there sounds like it is involved in the problem you've seen.

Andy's thread about Beta test Scenario Data Updates might contain some AI stuff.

Squadrons splitting up is allowed in the code, as long as the scenario data for that squadron allows it (basically on or off). It's not something that Michael would have to fix in code unless it is malfunctioning. AFAIK the carrier squadrons are configured with that option off.

Correct me but I think you can't overwrite the official scenarios and so you could only save it in an empty slot, that doesn't help with a running game.

I think you can. Install the updated scenario, and next time you load your game, accept data updates.

That change device stats, but not AI files (for example).

LCU list filter problem.

I'm trying to turn off upgrades for just restricted units by using the [r]estricted units filter top left. Although the filter displays correctly when the turn on/off upgrade button is used it affects all units.

Looks like 'restrictive' filter not being applied to any of the list update functions. Will correct.
